As you know I’ve been on a 21-Day Fast (which includes Social Media) since January 14th. So far it’s been going great. The break away from being “Social” has afforded me so many opportunities to study, read and reflect. So why break it now? What (or who) would cause me to want to step back in to the Social Scene?
Friends, on February 3rd, Justin and Trisha Davis are coming to Rock City Church!!!!
That’s right. Today we confirmed that the authors of the newly released book “Beyond Ordinary” will join us for all three of our worship experiences (9am, 10:45am and 12:30pm). To say that I am pumped is a huge understatement. This is worth breaking my social fast (at least once or twice before February 3rd) and spreading the word. I‘m not spreading the word to inflate attendance, I’m spreading the word because I believe so strongly in what Justin and Trisha will share with us that morning.
When I read the book by my friends, I was reminded of the many people I know that are fighting for their marriages. I was reminded of the many people I know that are fighting to move their lives beyond ordinary. I know the hearts of these two and believe that so many will be blessed to hear their story. This isn’t just for us married folks. This is a day you will all not want to miss.
I’m temporarily breaking my fast because I want to see marriages restored and renewed.

I’m temporarily breaking my fast because I believe so strongly that Justin and Trisha will speak to every single person that walks through the doors of Rock City on February 3rd.
The way that this all came together is beyond ordinary. Their story is beyond ordinary. If you come to Rock City on February 3rd, your experience will be beyond ordinary too.
I honestly believe God knows my heart and will honor this break in the fast to spread the word.
